About Us
Our parent company is CPU Enterprises.
CPU Enterprises has been trading since 1972 and has been on the Internet since February 2000.
The other websites which are part of CPU are Dianne's Knitting Yarns and Craft Kits. You can find out more about how and why we started CPU Enterprises on our CPU Blog. There are quite a few behind the scenes information about all three websites.
We started Craft Bits in the 1990's because we could not find small packs of eyes for the toys we were making - you could only buy packs of 100. So we decided to buy a few packs, split them, use some and sell the rest to customers of Dianne's Knitting Yarns, which was then the family's main business.
The popularity grew and grew, we had no time to make toys any more, so decided to go online in 2000. Since then we have added lots of other crafts, but have always tried to keep to the principle of - Just want one - No Problem.
Teddy Eyes are still our biggest seller, and we have lots and lots of types and colours.
We also have hundreds of Iron On Motifs and Patches which work well in this age of Make Do and Mend.
