Plastic shaft
Plastic white surrounding green background
Clear dome cover
Pupils are black discs that move about
All these eyes have metal washers
Suitable for toys providing suitable fabric
is used and they are fitted correctly.
We do not suggest metal washer eyes should be used on
thick
fabric such as knitting or crochet. If you use a thick fur fabric
you can trim the fur where the eye is to go to thin it out.
Not suitable for under 3 year olds.
Comply with the relevant sections of EN-71 which can be
downloaded via the Info Link at the top of all main pages
Eyes are not available without washers, washers are not
available without eyes and we do not have any spares of either

How to Use
Push shaft through fabric - you may need to make a small hole
Place washer on shaft with points away from the eye
Place a hollow tube or pipe on top of washer
Knock the washer down the spindle
You can push with your thumbs but make sure you do it evenly
Be careful not to bend the metal washer points
as that will effect the safety of the eye
Do not jiggle the washer once fitted as
that will effect the safety of the eye
Make sure the washer is right next to the
eye as that may effect the safety of the eye
Metal washers are not suitable for thicker fabrics like
socks,
knitting or crochet - please use the eyes with plastic washers instead
Please note - washer cannot be removed once fitted

Quick Tip
If you are using a crochet or knitted fabric (including
socks),
adding some felt or fabric inside where the eye is going
will help hide the washer and make sure it cannot pull out.
